Earlier this evening Mum and I finally watch The Song of Lunch (that dramatised poem with Alan Rickman and Emma Thompson) and absolutely loved it. The poem was pretty entrancing on its own and then Alan Rickman's voice reading it? Perfect.

And now we are watching CSI which is not QUITE the same *g*

CSI 11-03 Blood Moon )

I think Lou will die now (although for a long time I thought they were calling him that as it was short for Lieutenant but I don't think they have that rank in the police). I quite like the Nick/Ray relationship. It could be weird cos obviously Nick is more senior but Ray is older and in some ways more experienced but it seems to be developing into a real friendship.

He seems really rather doomed doesn't he? Cath isn't allowed non-doomed loves! I forget who he is ALL the time and if his name IS Lou then I still have no idea what his surname is!

It is a nice friendship isn't it? It's grown slowly as they learned to respect each other and I think that's really helped.

I always get him confused with that out detective...I want to call him Vega or something? Did he die or something? For a long time I thought they were the same person which may be where my confusion stems from...

All of those kinds of preparation seemed stupid to me, if you're going to die anyway surely it'd be better faster!

Stuff like that always reminds me of When the wind blows.
