So today I did very little of anything and fell almost human again!

I watched the Tour de France stage and then went to see Inception. It wasn't quite my original plan but I'm trying not to be bitter (in public anyway :P)

Plus I loved the film so it's been a fab day really <3

All the things I liked Klo to the other day, especially http://fuckyeahinception.tumblr.com/ much like fysodomites, it's very much worth skipping back as far as you can bear, to see what has gone before (though the person who does fyinception had a question spam yesterday but after that it's golden)

I was also gonna say, I too am very intrigued by why Cobb washed up AGAIN in limbo and why Saito had aged so much, considering he died AFTER Cobb and Ariadne had gone in. Weirdness. OH I want to see it again.

Mostly not frustrating. I think possibly it could get frustrating if you were talking to someone who was very certain their interpretation was right, but beyond that, mostly I'm stuck on wanting to see it again!

Re Saito's age, I read it that limbo itself is not the lowest layer, just the highest without any pre-existing architecture - Saito went down to a second layer of limbo where time moved so slowly that he had aged a lot in the few minutes it took for Leo to follow him.

What I don't get is how - if you go with the "ending is reality" reading - he created a kick to cause them to bubble all the way back up the, uh, call stack - the implication was he shot him, but a death would have pushed him even further down, no? I suppose they could have jumped off a cliff together, I just don't understand why it wasn't shown.

I suppose that's possible, they say so little that's definite about limbo, but I never got a sense that there was more than one just that they didn't know how time worked in limbo generally.

And if there is a deeper layer how on earth did Cobb get to the right one to find Saito.

(as to how I beliebe it's reality, hope springs eternal :P, plus eventually the sedative at the top layer has to wear off at which point presumeably dying would wake him up again? Or at least wake him up to the next layer and then the next ec. But I might have missed some reason why that wouldn't work)

(You have no idea how excited I am about my flist getting to see this movie! I am seeing it again on Wednesday!)

As for links and stuff there's already about a billion shipping comms and a kink meme (inception_kink). You'd probably be interested in arthur_ariadne, I'm guessing. (Also, can I just suggest, if you'd like some m/m to point your browser at eames_arthur. *coughs* You know. If you feel like it. :D)

Also I've already written two Arthur/Eames fics, with several more in planning stages, but you know me - I'm not good with self-advertising. They're in the usual place. :)
