Oh, wow, if we ever have to put up with Kurt's temporary insanity of breaking up with Adam to go back to Blaine, it should be something like this. But without poor Adam screwing up his senior year! (Although it would mean enough year, perhaps, or at least another semester, at NYADA with Kurt.)
This was so well done, and the whole fiasco took less than a week, which is the most time it should take for Kurt to realize he's made a terrible mistake. I really like the idea of both Kurt and Adam sitting and talking things out, explaining how they feel, why they made certain decisions, and each caring enough about the other to want to hear the truth.
This is what I want for Kurt, a mature, adult relationship with someone who cares about him, and himself.
Thanks for this uplifting story. I need all the hope I can get that Kurt's life will start to work out for the better, and Adam's. too.
I read this laughing and enjoying and awwing at all the right points. And then I got to that last line, read it and burst into tears. Really. It was just such a lovely last line, such a wonderful ending and just so much what I want for Kurt and know I will never get. Not your fault though. You have just written what *should* be if Ryan didn't have a weird obsession with first loves and a total blindspot for the real implications of what he writes. Thank you.
