Hello everyone! I am writing a brief entry to explain the current situation at my workplace, because I feel it is worth discussion. I have been really unhappy going to work lately, even though it's been less frequent (still ~30 hours a week, but not the ridiculousness of the holiday season at least). I hear "I Don't Feel Like Dancing" basically every time I go into my dorm room. I wonder sometimes if Melissa loves the Scissor Sisters, or if she really just hates dancing.

I tend to hate that song just because I heard it 5,000 times while I was working at the movie theater.

Feist is wicked awesome! Her first CD is really hard to find, but I could give you all of the songs I have from it sometime if you'd like. Her second CD is better, but a lot different.

This is only somewhat related, but your mention of Christmas music and then all this awesome music made me think of it. I discovered a Christmas cd that is actually pretty cool; in fact, it is called It's A Cool, Cool Christmas (I'm pretty sure that's the title, anyway) and it includes holiday songs done by Snow Patrol, the Flaming Lips, and Belle & Sebastian, in addition to other bands. Anyway. It seemed like the kind of thing you would enjoy.
