Cannes Ad Fest 2005

Just saw the Cannes ad fest 2005. I thought the overall quality was merely OK. The bronze ads are the best-too much big-budget visual effects and not enough funny in the silver and gold ones, especially the ones commissioned by Adidas and Nike. My favorite ones before I forget:

• The Blixa ones (of course). Big brush!
  
• The Thai energy conservation

I too liked the Bronze ones best. Generally, I thought the ads were better last year than this year, but overall it was pretty decent.

Also, you missed out on some good beers at Huethers. : P
