So Prabhakar estimates that a reasonable compiler written in Scheme will have about 15000 lines of code. pcolijn_feed's and my current count: slightly under 7000. Perhaps that's why we're not generating very much code yet.

Actually it makes me feel a little relieved because I was wondering if our code count was high given the expressiveness of Scheme.

It is almost 4am. That means I've been working on compilers for almost 14 hours straight. Hmm...

I should get some sleep so I can attend class tomorrow.

Just saw the Cannes ad fest 2005. I thought the overall quality was merely OK. The bronze ads are the best-too much big-budget visual effects and not enough funny in the silver and gold ones, especially the ones commissioned by Adidas and Nike. My favorite ones before I forget:

• Caught the Waterloo virus, leading to headache, coughing, nasal congestion, and sore throat. I claim the illness as the reason for 2 of the 3 classes skipped.
