Am I In Korea?

The other day I went to a huge Korean supermarket on El Camino in Sunnyvale. Other than the small numbers on the price tags (small in number but still expensive, stupid Silicon Valley) I feel like I'm back in Korea. Isn't Mountain View where Google is? It's like everything is better there or something.

How do you like the new American Analog Set?

Yeah, Google's at Mountain View. Apple's in Cupertino, and Cupertino also sucks, so I don't see the correlation between cool companies and cool city.

Haven't listened to the American Analog Set enough yet. But so far, they sound like the type of band I need to see them live to have a real opinion of.

I plan on going if I can work on the logistics of being in SF for a late night. Sigh, my inferior social skills is working against me :p

I listened to the album a couple times at work today and a couple songs are starting to stand on their own, like "Cool Kids Keep" and "Sharp Briar".

Cupertino's saving grace is that although I've only been here for a week, I've already found more restaurants that serve edible food than in Waterloo. The key is edible, not memorable, though. That may be because I tend to like Asian food most and there are tons of Asians in Cupertino.
