After the Fight with Gene

Moist takes Urquhart carefully through the Bar, stopping only to get a first aid kit,

"Lean on me as we go up the stairs."

His shirt is pretty much ruined as its covered in blood and mud, but oddly he doesn't mind.

Urquhart's ribs are hurting quite badly now that the fury is leaving him.

"Did you get some ice, too?" he asks. "They have it here even in summer, which is useful because you don't get bruises only in winter. Damn."

He looks at the blood that has been dripping on the floor, leaving a trail where he went.

"Yes, I did,"

Luckily his room isn't too far away and Moist gets the door open and starts moving Urquhart towards the bed.

"I'm a mess," Urquhart says. "Dripping blood everywhere. That revolting foul-mouthed English guttersnipe!"

It's all Gene's fault, of course!

"I'll get a bath running for you,"

It doesn't take him long to get it started and then starts carefully wiping down his face.
