"I'm going to do my best to patch you up, but you're to rest. The bath will be ready soon and hopefully that will care for some of your bruises. You really shouldn't tease him, he's like the worst sorts of guards or the wolves who want an excuse to hurt you. I'm going to try and get you out of these awful clothes, let me know when it hurts too much."
"Did you get some ice, too?" he asks. "They have it here even in summer, which is useful because you don't get bruises only in winter. Damn."
He looks at the blood that has been dripping on the floor, leaving a trail where he went.

Luckily his room isn't too far away and Moist gets the door open and starts moving Urquhart towards the bed.

It doesn't take him long to get it started and then starts carefully wiping down his face.

His ribs are hurting badly now, and his face feels like a swollen mess of hurt.
"Can I have some of that ice? It feels as if the inside of my skull is dripping out."

That takes a while, but Moist is efficient. Then he gently puts some ice covered in a towel on Urquhart's face.

"Can I have a kiss," he says, "or am I still too repulsively bloody?"
He won't mind if Moist says yes.

Moist sighs at the shirt and goes to his desk to get a small and sharp knife to cut the shirt off.
Then he winces at all the bruises, "The bath will help with those."
