I love playing in the snow! And it's the ultimate proof that Edmund is back to being their beloved brother from ages ago as well.

'Ages ago' makes it sound as though it's been years!

Actually; if you read the book, it suggests it /has/ been years since Edmund was well, Edmund. He'd grown rather selfish and cruel over quite some time.

Perhaps he had, in both book and movie. I feel I should note, however, this isn't very clear in the movie, from which this story derives its source.
