Awesome! You've captured Pippin beautifully. And Merry too from what I've seen so far. That's a good point about the Nazgul.. would have really sucked if it had lived!

Thank you; that's good to hear after dashing this off in the early hours of the morning.

This was a wonderful glimpse of Pippin's frantic search.

I wasn't certain I had captured it at all so this was good to hear! Thank you!

Very vivid! The messiness of the battlefield and the emotions of walking it as a survivor, looking for someone who might be dead, are very well described. Thank you!

Nice movie-verse gap-filler. I love the part where Pippin finds Merry...(more so in book but you wrote nicely in what the movie part was missing)

His throat closed and his hand dashed the tears that threatened to fall on his cheeks and cloud his eyes. It was night now; he could see small fires burning. Merry was here; he had to be.
Love how you wrote this--good description!

This was written to purely fill in the gap I felt was left out by the movie so it’s good to find out that that part was liked and that I was able to write this and it turn out okay.

Love how you wrote this--good description!
Thank you! I wasn’t certain if that part of the description worked.
