I gave Teal’c a Santa hat in 2009. It was time to bring it back!

At first, Jack doesn’t pay attention to the nervous looks, the sudden changes in direction or the mothers herding their children in the opposite direction. Teal’c is a big man - tall and broad shouldered - although that red hat should dispel some of the nervousness. After all, c’mon. It’s a Santa hat for Crissakes!
However, at the third store - after being handed the change by a shop assistant nervously gulping with constant sideways glances at Teal’c - Jack pays full attention. Outside the store, he steers Teal’c to the nearest store front and makes Teal’c look at his reflection.
“What’s wrong with this?” Jack meets the Jaffa’s gaze in the window.
Teal’c studies his reflection. “Is this not the season to be jolly, O’Neill?”
“It is, Teal’c, but do you think you need to ... grin like that?”
“Grin, O’Neill?”
Jack points to the reflection. The toothy death mask rictus expression fades.
“Keep going.”
It further diminishes until the Jaffa’s lips are simply curved.
“That’s it!” Jack pats him on the shoulder. “You looked like a demented Christmas elf, Teal’c. One who was going to swallow kids whole, bones and all.”
Teal’c nods and Jack picks up his beer once more. “C’mon,” he announces. “I’ve gotta buy Daniel’s present.”
“What will you get for him, O’Neill?”
“Tissues, Teal’c.”
The Jaffa raises an eyebrow.
“He’s always sneezing on mission.” Jack pauses. “We better get him those soft, hypoallergenic kind.”
