Burt doesn't pretend to understand half the things Kurt is into these days - hell, even when Kurt was just knee high he found it hard to grasp the idea of his boy wanting to host a tea party instead of playing cops and robbers; it didn't mean he hadn't tried though. He doesn't know the first thing about fashion or Broadway Musicals but he still gives his boy his total attention whenever Kurt once again tries to educate him on the subjects. Sure, he's picked up couple of things here and there but not enough to really bond with Kurt over them ( ... )

It was an August ritual - sun shining, top down on a car rented just for the weekend, Boys Boys Boys at full volume. They would overnight in Cincinnati, go to a concert, and hit up the Saks Outlet and argue over how easily they could trade bondage gear now that Kurt had grown so tall (he mourned the loss of those plaid beauties to her, but was thrilled to get the height).

I never even noticed that their hair was the same! No wonder Reid's short hair makes him look EVEN YOUNGER.

It took me until Sexy to realize that the funny feeling I had watching Kurt's hair came from the recognition of Reid's fabulous (and so OOC) hairstyle. THEY WOULD BE BEAUTIFUL TOGETHER.
