So he suggested to me that I go down to Texas with my mom for a while and join the National Guard for 6 months and then flip over to full-time Army. Well, the Army wants me in the military and I've done everything they've asked me to with flying colors and the people that approve or disapprove my waiver have opted to deny me once again. Now I have the head of the MEPS (Military Entrance Processing Station) Medical Center in Columbus looking up exactly why the denied me and to see if he can do ( Read more... )

My doctor did indeed write the letter I needed him to and it was faxed to my recruiter on Friday and he sent it to MEPS and they'll process it on Monday. Hopefully by the end of next week, I'll be officially in the military. God I can't wait!

Well, I talked to the manager in Mount Vernon and they'd take me on as a Furniture Associate. So that's a plus. Ames said I could go there after the 17th because Heath is having their inventory and two people quit today. It was a big mess. Otherwise I'd be in the MV store this week!
