*hugs* Just wait for the second episode, see the first didn't hook me entirely on Smith but the second towards the end, it was just so very Doctorish *gesture*
the third is a bit iffy storywise but otherwise the acting I think is just getting better.
And *bounces* I think Doctor Who is such a strong tradition, it'll survive anything they do to it, but I am glad Matt took over rather than someone else.
True dat to the romance thing though, I think that's why I adored Tennant and Tate so much, because the chemistry was everything but romantic between them. I do remember the old days of multiple companions and romances between them, hope Moffat picks them back up

It does get better with each episode, I promise and I do genuinely think Matt and Karen (as Amy) work so well together XD
Bleh, yeah the romance with the Doctor stuff - Rose, Martha etc - just really annoyed me, but I'm feeling a change of air with Moffat :)
