Remus winced when he picked up the letter.  A small pocket in his mind howled in rage at the scent of another werewolf on the envelope.  He closed his eyes and forced himself to pick out the scents of Sirius instead of the wolf and concentrated on them.  After a few minutes he was able to ignore his inner wolf and open the letter.
