LRiD Chapter 3: Weapons Request [Voice: Japanese]

Dec 04, 2009 22:11

So... I understand I can use this to request things from the scientists, right...?

Given how dangerous things are, and that my powers were taken away, is it possible for me to get a handgun? A shoulder holster and some extra clips, too, if that's not asking too much.

... and a combat knife, maybe, in case I have to fight something up close.

Yeah, that's pretty much asking too much. We barely have heat.

O-oh...

... well, I can make do with just the gun and clips if I have to. I can probably find something to substitute for the combat knife easily enough...

Even a gun is asking a lot. The scientists aren't here to help you. They're assholes that drag people into this hellhole and do nothing. Everyone's gotten this far on their own, and all the scientists do is fuck with us more.

They won't even give us the right chemicals to make the fucking hydroelectric plan work. You want a weapon? Try talking to Moa. Otherwise squat in an apartment or house or something. I'd offer ours, but we're not exactly the most liked group out there.

W-well, it's still worth trying, right?

... Master can fight well enough to protect me since her chip was removed, but I just want to be able to fend for myself if I need to.

Who's Moa?

They generally don't give us anything we ask for. But, sometimes there will be items from home that rain down from the sky, or mysteriously show up near us in the night.

Huh... well, it's worth a try, at least, isn't it?

Everything is worth a try, unless there's a chance of losing something. Since there's nothing to lose by asking, then yes, it is worth it. But, as the young woman said above, you should probably try the inventory. The young woman who runs it is named Moa, and it's located on the second floor of the high school. I'm sure your master would know of other outlets as well.

A-alright, thanks. I suppose I'll try asking Master first, then.

...I doubt that the scientists will give you your requests.

Yeah, two people have told me that already...

Did you just arrive here?

I would have told you, but I figured you'd learn better this way...

W-well, maybe I'll luck out and actually get something...

Possibly. But it may not end up being what you asked for.

Ah...

... ... why do I get the feeling I might end up with some sort of toy gun now, suddenly...?

That's quite the request.

I-I just wanted to be prepared, but...

I'm starting to get the feeling that I'm not even going to get one of those things...

I wouldn't be surprised. After all, it seems that playing tricks on the residents is just a hobby of this place.

Ah...

... I guess I'll have to rely on Master to get around until I get my powers back, then...
