LRiD Chapter 3: Weapons Request [Voice: Japanese]

Dec 04, 2009 22:11

So... I understand I can use this to request things from the scientists, right...?

Given how dangerous things are, and that my powers were taken away, is it possible for me to get a handgun? A shoulder holster and some extra clips, too, if that's not asking too much.

... and a combat knife, maybe, in case I have to fight something up close.

They generally don't give us anything we ask for. But, sometimes there will be items from home that rain down from the sky, or mysteriously show up near us in the night.

Huh... well, it's worth a try, at least, isn't it?

Everything is worth a try, unless there's a chance of losing something. Since there's nothing to lose by asking, then yes, it is worth it. But, as the young woman said above, you should probably try the inventory. The young woman who runs it is named Moa, and it's located on the second floor of the high school. I'm sure your master would know of other outlets as well.

A-alright, thanks. I suppose I'll try asking Master first, then.

Good luck, I know how hard it can be dealing with the dangers. Especially if the powers you're used to having are gone.

... well, as long as I stick with Master, I should be okay. Still, I'd like to be able to help and not just rely on her completely...

You'll figure out what you can do. Sometimes it takes a little time, but, sooner or later things start to fall into place here.

That's not what I meant. I'm going to be working at the hospital with Master... just... it'd be nice if I could help fight off the monsters on the way there and back...

Most people seem to be able to manage the ones in the city alright. Large blunt objects work wonders. Of course, I personally try and avoid going out alone....

Ah... I guess if I can get my hands on a knife or something, I should do fine, then...

I'm sure you can find something without too much effort.

Yeah.

I'm sure Master will be able to remove my chip at some point, too.

Hopefully she can. I know I was very frustrated when I had mine in.

She will... Master is one of the best doctors.

I just hope it's not too long, in case I ever need to use my powers.

I've found it can vary. I got mine out within a month, but it took us close to six to get my friend Haruka's out.

Six months? Why?
