Most of my smaller pots have been rinsed out and are sitting on the grass drying or soaking off some of the dirt.  The carpenter ants are flying, but so far I haven't had much problem with them now that the half-barrel is empty and was sprayed in and out with vinegar.  And Madeline enjoyed some time outside after being cooped up alone for the last ( Read more... )

Back home, car half fixed.  The wheel squeal was a bad bearing, and those have been replaced on both front wheels.  Since this is a more remote mechanic, they had to order the parts, so I had to stay overnight in a hotel and torture myself with hours and hours of Animal Planet, Comedy Central, and Cartoon Network, with a smattering of Star Trek:TNG ( Read more... )

My Haynes repair manual for my car claims there's only one light for all functions of the taillight, including the reverse light.  So I'm glad I consulted the Neons.org forums once again before trying to find a mechanic to find the 'short', for I was edumacated and now my taillight is fixed.  I'd replaced the wrong light before - the reverse light ( Read more... )
