Tip:  when living in the northern latitudes, get a car with a dark color.  It snowed a couple inches last night, and the only car in the parking lot with significant snow (most of it in fact!) still on it is my white car.

I guess my dad doesn't know that brake inspections don't always include looking at the INNER brake pad on disc brakes, because that involves taking off the wheel.  The brakes have been going down pretty far, and there's been a weird 'floaty to the right' feeling with it when accellerating from a stop, so I stopped by Midas to get a full brake ( Read more... )

Missed the shuttle by SECONDS on Monday (I was having an 'I'm invisible!' day!  Three people completely missed me when they walked or drove past! Just called my dad a bit ago, and he agreed to having my 10-CD/tape system transferred to the Civic.  Not sure if we're going to find a place that will do that for an old system, but at least taking it out and keeping it...it will be MUCH easier for me to lose the Neon if I have the stereo system.  Its the first thing I bought with the money left ( Read more... )
