Jinxin'
Okay, so they say it must have been the bumper catching on the curb, because they couldn't find anything else. And were at a loss to explain why Snowball is actually driving better now. So I suppose I ought to thank my lucky stars...except that every time I've done that since I moved here it's jinxed whatever I'm celebrating so I'm just going to 'ho hum its working properly for now'.
GARDEN NEWS: I thought the peas were emerging, but its cold and wet and they seem to have stalled. No pepper yet, either, so I reseeded the pot on the fridge, and no echinacea but that my have to be reseeded later no biggie I have plenty. I dug into the half barrel to look at the potatoes and they still seem to be alive despite no greenery above. Since my heart has gotten back into its proper rhythm finally I may put together the potato/vermicomposter when next we have some good dry days. I bought a 4" hidcote lavender a couple days ago, but it has to stay inside for now. Generic Succulent Jr. may be dead as transplanting a 2 ml high plant was NOT easy and for whatever reason it just didn't stay in the soil and doesn't look particularly good. Still, maybe its okay.
I used the gift card I got for returning an unused bag of food to Petco yesterday and got 40 lbs of Feline Pine, a crinkly ball, and a 'pyramid bed' which was on clearance 'cause I wanted Madeline to have a bed in the bedroom, too. The pyramid bed seems to kind of freak Madeline out for some reason, but maybe she'll get used to it.
