Camera? Unresolved.

I am thinking of getting a new camera.  I am sold on the idea of getting a nice SLR that is big enough to be comfy in the hand, has OK resolution, is fairly fast, and can be adjusted in ways I don' t yet understand.  I'll get a nice ultrawide lens for to take weird pictures, and maybe a nice standard zoom for to wander around and take pictures of

Cody's a Nikon kid, saving his dough for a D90. I'll get his D40. I like the camera, but then I'm not choosy.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I need to change the way I think about photography, and start taking pictures of people once in a while. SLRs are good for that. People photography, here I come!

So one of the (many) reasons that I don't own a car is because I am obsessed with reading about them, and any car that I could own would ultimately be unsatisfying to me, because I would constantly be reminded of the other options out there and second guess my decision. I've advised several people who have been looking for a car to buy. Every one of them, when they bought the car they wanted, stopped looking. It amazed me, that they were able to stop, just like that

You take great photos, just do enough research to satisfy you in the moment and let go the search for a better camera. I researched the hell out of my purchase and still ended up with one I don't like. Can't trust strangers online. Also, a 100% price difference definitely justifies buying online, as long as you don't go into favored store to try things out first.
