I passed the test. The first major serious adult-level crisis in my life, and I handled it splendidly, with zero help, and everyone turned out all right in the end.

So I've come to the conclusion that no one really gives a shit about my musical exploits unless it's somehow tied into the wonderful adventure stories that all my wonderful non-single friends (which is pretty much everyone I know) live vicariously through.
