Indeed. There's something visually poetic about a lethal weapon that takes skill to manipulate. As Obi-Wan said of the lightsaber, "an elegant weapon from a more civilized time."

dude, isn't that a kwan-dao? i thought the naginata had a shorter blade. i wish lightsabers were real. i would definitely own one.
