Venus appears!

May 08, 2009 11:28

Venus turned with a small laugh to face Artemis, amused by his not-so-subtle insinuations about her courtship- or rather, the lack there of. He well knew why she would accept no suitors, although she tried those who tried respectfully; there was one she had already given her heart to. It was a trade forged in the heat of a battle neither had ( Read more... )

Ami had taken to exploring the Nexus again, a break from paperwork, when she notices the familiar face. "Minako?" she wonders aloud, approaching, "Did you get lost in this place again?"

"Minako?" Venus looked to the other senshi as she approached, her head tilted in confusion. The name was unfamiliar to her, and she wasn't sure why Mercury was using it. "I'm not sure what you mean, Mercury. Is this not Venus?"

Ami blinked, then smiled. "My apologies," she said, "Venus, then. And no, this isn't your home, I'm afraid."

"Where might we be, then?" Venus turned her gaze in a slow circle, taking in everything about their surroundings. The only thing that had changed was the disappearance of the many Venusians who had been busy in preparations, and of course, of Artemis as well. It was disturbing, seeing the gay decorations left hanging unkempt and unready. As if the people had disappeared mid actions, and they had.

Mercury knew this person. "Venus!" she greeted with a smile, picking up her skirt a bit and jogging over, "How did you find yourself here?" She always did go out of her way to be nice to the Princess of Venus; somewhat due to the nature of her position as Serenity's decoy, a role Mercury despised.

"I'm not sure, Mercury. Where is 'here' if not my own home?" Venus cast a wary eye around her. Everything looked in place, exactly as it had moments ago, save the lack of the people around her. And of course, Mercury herself. The water senshi had been on her own planet the last Venus had heard, and she was unsure as to why she was here.

Mercury kept smiling. "I'm afraid you're not on Venus anymore," she replied with a small shake of her head, "Come, I will show you where you, and your palace, have ended up."

"That would be appreciated," she replied, ready to move when her companion did. If she and her palace had indeed been transported elsewhere, it would be vital to find out where and to secure a completely knowledge of an enemy there might be.

A white-haired young man has found himself here, easily recognizable as the shitennou Zoisite. He frowns, looking around himself, and then catches sight of Venus. He gives her a somewhat serious look.

"Venus," he greets her.

"Zoisite," she called, both somewhat concerned at the shitennou's appearance, as well as pleasantly surprised. It was not often that he made it to Venus, and she enjoyed his company when he did. "What has brought you to Venus?"

He continues to look at her, unwavering, for several moments.

"It is chance," he says finally.

"Truly?" She arched an amused eyebrow at him. "I had not thought you left much to chance. Perhaps I was wrong?" Her tone was teasing, and she moved closer, gathering her gowns in one hand for ease of movement. She still knew that something was wrong with the situation, and she would transform instantly if a threat presented itself.

Have a... self! But very modernized. Aino Minako, early twenties, singing idol, is here. She glances around herself, and to call her reaction surprise would be pushing the boundaries of understatement.

"Magellan?" she asks aloud. Has she really come to Magellan castle? She remembers it from the past.

"Mmmm." Venus eyed the woman before her curiously. She was identical in appearance, and she had the same aura as Venus herself; her identity could not be mistaken easily. As sure as the conclusion though, was that fact that she had no idea how she could be facing herself. "You sound as if you have not seen it in some time."

"This belongs to the past life and the Silver Millenium," Minako says, her tone slightly distant as she takes in the full magnitude of her surroundings.

"I lived here."

"This is my home, yes." Venus wasn't sure she liked the way this- other Venus had phrased her sentence, as if the Silver Millennium was an age long past. "If it is not yours, then where do you hail from?"

Hino Rei, still largely unaware of her past, finds herself in an enormous chateau. She pulls up short, surprise written on her face, only to next see:

"Minako?"

There was that name again, and she gave the other senshi a somewhat confused look as she shook her head.

"Venus. I've not heard that name before, Mars."

"I'm sorry. Venus." Rei corrects herself and apologizes evenly.
