It had been shaping up to be a normal day. Valentine's Day had been the night before, but it hadn't really affected the young blonde. Mamoru was off busy in college, of course. Mercury watches Usagi silently for some time before stepping into view.

"Sailormoon." The tone is neutral, but not very encouraging.

[mooncrises]

At first, the voice made her twitch in a delightful manner. So much so that she even turned towards it with a large grin on her face. "Am..." the words caught in her throat before she could even complete the statement, as she studied the figure in front of her.

Definitely not the Mercury she was used to.

"Mercury?" Usagi had to ask, just to be sure.

[waterfell]

"From the Dark Kingdom, Senshi of Water and Wisdom, Mercury." Her sword is presented in a challenge position as she eyes the other girl somewhat sternly.

[mooncrises]

Dark Kingdom? Uh oh... Usagi immediately took a half-step back, unsure of what her next move should be. She didn't want to transform for fear of it escalating into a battle from there...

"W-What are you talking about? A Sailorsenshi would never work for the Dark Kingdom!"

[windunchained]

When he sees Usagi, Zoisite's head lowers slightly and his expression shifts to what might be confusion. Nevertheless, he does not lose his composure, instead greeting her politely, if somewhat formally.

"Princess. This is a dangerous place."

[mooncrises]

It was a greeting that she was used to, that 'Princess' stuff. Usagi even frowned slightly at the mention, but tried not to make her discomfort noticeable. Or so; she hoped.

"Dangerous?" Usagi questioned, knowing the form of Zoisite, but unable to sense his intent. "Why do you say so?"

"There are those who seek your life."

[mooncrises]

Somehow, that didn't come as a surprise. "Who... are you talking about?"

[firextinguished]

"Usagi-!" She seems about ready to run towards the other girl, and then she is running, clearly happy to see Usagi but something isn't quite right here.

[mooncrises]

Blink blink. "Rei-chan?" She questioned first with a bit of uncertainty. "Rei-chan!" all of that seemed to shed at the notice that it was, indeed, her friend.

Wasn't it?

She nods, smiling still.

"Usagi!" She doesn't even know what else to say for a long time.

"Are you alright?" she questions finally. It's not a very odd question; she knows by now how strange this nexus can seem at first.

[mooncrises]

Finally, a friendly face she was familiar with! "Rei-chan!" the blond called again, launching herself towards her dark-haired friend. "WAAH!! So many strange things are happening here!!" Usagi cried, letting the tears flow.

[nihil_serenitas]

Serenity stares silently at Usagi without speaking for quite some time. Her face is a perfect reflection of the other girl's, but the uniform is more ornate with pearls a frequently-occurring theme, and she wears a tiara.

When she finally speaks, she has only one thing to say to her other self: "Where is Endymion?"

Well, that was certainly strange. It wasn't every day you came face to face with yourself. "I... I don't know," Usagi answered honestly. "Mamo-chan... he's gone to America, you see -- "

[nihil_serenitas]

"Then I wish to go to America. I wish to see Endymion."

[mooncrises]

Well if it was that simple, even this Usagi wanted a part of that action! But -- "It's so expensive to go to America!!" she cried, genuinely concerned. "And besides, Mamo-chan... he's studying hard! So I know there are times he doesn't want to be bothered..."

[mizuno_hime]

Used to the protocol of court, and having been separated from her for some time, Mercury immediately goes down on one knee before Usagi.

"Princess," she greets her pleasantly.

[mooncrises]

"Waah!!" definitely not a very Princess-like reaction. "Ah, heh heh," Usagi laughed nervously, then reached down to take the senshi's hands in hers, trying to pull Mercury up from her display of loyalty. "You don't need to do that! And you can just call me Usagi!"

[mizuno_hime]

Usagi? She's certainly never heard the princess called that. But she's been in the Nexus enough to ask the obvious:

"You are... the princess' reincarnation?" A world where that was needed.

[mooncrises]

Well, explaining things had never been Usagi's forté. "Yeah, that's me! Tsukino Usagi, Juuban High student, Class 1!" she cried, flashing a peace sign in a victory pose.
