Minako takes a punch and goes down hard. She winces, and struggles to get up. Her foe closes in and kicks her right in her side; she slides another few inches across the ground. She gives him a grim, narrow-eyed look and painfully climbs her way to unsteady feet

Her heart sinks when she sees him, not because he's unwelcome but because of two very simple things:

First, he stands out. Second, what is he doing here?! For that heart-sinking moment, Minako thinks something must be wrong. She makes some flimsy excuse about needing a drink of water, and heads over close enough to talk to Zoisite.

"Zoisite. Did something happen?"

How helpful, indeed. A glance around them tells Minako no one's paying attention yet; good. "If someone asks, you're a new actor," she tells Zoisite. "I have to go back in a few minutes."

That brings them right back to the real question. "I guess it was just the nexus again," she says.

Oh dear. At least Usagi's clothes stand out less than Zoisite's, but that attitude makes it way too clear she's a fan who 'snuck in somehow' and doesn't belong here.

Minako calmly checks they won't be noticed too much, and heads over to talk to Usagi.

"Usagi. You came to see the set?" She puts on that friendly public smile.

"Please watch it when it comes out," Minako replies. She stretches and flexes her arm a bit to work it into shape for the next scene.

Venus spots Jadeite, but it's been a long time since he's been an enemy.

So it's the glare that makes her cautious, make a smiling excuse to one of the set workers, and head over there.

"Jadeite. Why are you here right now?" The tone is neutral, albeit serious.

"In that case," Minako tells Jadeite, "Leave before there's a problem."

There's another idol standing behind the scenes of the movie, watching with a critical eye as her rival goes through the scene. Everything looks good, of course, and the fighting is smooth and practiced, not that she would expect anything else from Aino Minako herself. As a matter of fact, she would have been very surprised if it hadn't looked good. There's a reason they're rivals.

Mars Reiko has arrived.

When the break is called and she's finished cleaning up a bit and she's just looking around for some water- Minako spots Rei. She heads over towards her, unable to resist teasing a bit).

"So did you come to check up on your rival? I won't lose to you in our next films."

[hinosong]

"Oh? How confident, hmmm?" Rei smirks a little at the other girl before directing her gaze up at the different harnesses hanging half hazardously in different places. "Afraid I'll overtake you?"

"You're the one who came here worried." She grins.

"We haven't had a chance to see each other in awhile," Minako admits a bit more normally. "Your career's really been doing well."

By sheer force of will, Minako keeps her back to Jadeite while she has to concentrate on the stunt work. Once she's done and at the next break, she finally approaches him. Her attitude is still wary, but not overtly hostile.

"You came back?" That might be mild confusion speaking; when Jadeite's alternate had been here earlier, she'd thought he'd totally left.

"It's for a film," Minako says, ignoring the look. If it means he's an alternate, it doesn't matter. If it means he's pretending, she'll figure that out soon enough. She's cautious anyway, in the nexus.

She's also polite, since he is - mostly.

"Ah, it's my new film," she explains. "I want to try the stunts myself this time. All the equipment is for safety." Not that a senshi needs most of it, but being careful when she can is better.
