"Zoisite." There's a frown on her face, in her voice, as she steps up to this alternate's piano. It's not her husband, that she knows instantly, but that doesn't mean that the dark sound of that music doesn't worry her.

It all stops abruptly as soon as she's there. The music stops and Zoisite almost seems to freeze. His head snaps up, he turns his eyes towards Venus, and then turns his head.

"Sailor Venus," his greeting lacks warmth though it is not precisely hostile. "Were you listening?"

"Mmm," she nods in affirmation, her eyes watching him closely. She's not sure, but she feels like she's met this alternate before... and he seems different somehow. It's more than simply the dark, disjointed undertone of the music he had played, although that in of itself is something she cannot dismiss. Zoisite's music, she knows, comes from within. But... it is more than the music.

"Are you well?"

There's a short half-scale before Zoisite answers, as though he's thinking through his fingers, or those few notes, to decide his response. "I am in good health."

"Did you see it? When you arrived?"

The music stops. Zoisite stays with his hands poised over the piano, one finger still pressing down a key. He glances dispassionately at Kunzite.

"The circus," he confirms.

"I will send you to where they are," Zoisite offers after an almost-mischievous trill on the piano.

Whether it's real or feigned, Zoisite seems not to notice his visitor. He continues to play just a handful of notes at a time, a nervous habit like any other for the man who lives at his piano bench. He fingers a simple melody and stares at nothing in particular.

Perhaps it'd been real after all; Zoisite seems to freeze for just an instant. Then he plays a little trill, almost absentmindedly, and his mouth makes a devious little smile.

"Are you staying there for the next movement?" The thought tickles his fancy for a moment of just what songs he could play to manipulate Jadeite until he grows bored of it. Perhaps something to make Jadeite dance, quite literally; or perhaps it'd be fun to make him go douse himself in a fountain or sink somewhere and spend the day soaked.

This is detachment. Zoisite doesn't even react until his alternate speaks. He looks at his double, almost without even seeing him.

"Twin notes," he remarks. "They will not sound the same played differently."

"I am sending my music to the Dead Moon," Zoisite says inconsequentially. "They heard it. They won't last long next time."

It could just be because it's attacking her, or at least the plans of an alternate her. The irony is not lost on Zoisite as he plays a little upward half-scale before he looks at Nehellenia.

"Did you feel it?" he asks her.

"Don't you think it's interesting my music can affect alternates, too?" He could possibly say he enjoys it, the feel of pressing further and further outward, causing it all from center as ever-expanding rings of his influence grow and grow.
