It could just be because it's attacking her, or at least the plans of an alternate her. The irony is not lost on Zoisite as he plays a little upward half-scale before he looks at Nehellenia.

"Don't you think it's interesting my music can affect alternates, too?" He could possibly say he enjoys it, the feel of pressing further and further outward, causing it all from center as ever-expanding rings of his influence grow and grow.

Zoisite's smirk broadens for just a second with Nehellenia's words. It fades as he goes back to playing, a similar brooding and dissonant piece but without that power behind it.

But what had that laughter been? The enemy; he knows that much. But does it mean they are closer? Had they heard him?

He's occupied enough by her uncertainty, by the way he can already tell she's nervous. It entertains him with thoughts of just what else he can do, or of using her for practice since his power affects her like her alternates.

"The timing of your visit is excellent," he remarks.
