Question: how do you pronounce Mique’s name?

Well, I'm a Frenchie by school, so I pronounce it very much like "Meek" -- which, actually, is kind of hilarious now that I think of it, but that's what French Immersion will do to a person :p

I've been hoping I built up to it properly, but it can be hard to say for sure until someone else has read it without knowing what's coming :) FaIC isn't *just* a love story, so it's a little more complicated timing-wise, but they'll get there eventually. Sequel-eventually, probably ;p

Complicated relationships are far more interesting, to my mind, than the simple girl-meets-boy-etc formula. And I'm so glad you liked the ending--I'm inordinately fond (or at least protective :p) of it, myself, but I wasn't sure what kind of reaction I'd get :)
