I think Jaina wants a ship and a crew more than Zekk does... she's trying to push her dreams on him? *considers*

Coincidentally, I'm trying not to think about the future too much right now, so thanks for giving me some companions in my non-future-thinking! :P

I like that you’ve shown Jaina’s fierce, almost feral love for flying. She got that from her daddy and her grandfather; the poor kid never stood a chance.

Thanks! She's definitely a little wilder than I sometimes write her (although, I suppose, after "Always"...:P), but I definitely think flying is one of her great loves. Jacen and Anakin are very much Jedi, and Jaina definitely is one too, but between Han (and her being a total daddy's girl) and Anakin (Skywalker)...she's definitely a pilot, through and through.

Have I mentioned that I <3 subtext? Because I really like seeing all the unrealized motives and implications floating around here.

Thanks! I'm really enjoying the subtle aspects of this fic, even despite my melodrama norm, so I'm glad it's coming across properly :)

I love that Jaina is starting to push Zekk to be what she knows he can be, and how Zekk is more okay with that than usual, just because it’s Jaina doing the talking.She is *definitely* championing Zekk's potential, and very much so in the next chapter, so I ( ... )
