When would I ever want a SHORTER story? Seriously, I love long chapters and even longer stories. I am always a little disappointed when one ends. I am interested in how it will end but getting there is more than half the fun. I am glad you are getting more readers for both your new and older stories. As you are more than aware by now, I think they are all awesome. BTW, love the competition between Mick and Josef. I can totally see these two doing this. I am not sure which one I would choose. Probably Mick, but Josef is so charming and...bad, that he would be very hard to resist. If only I had a problem like that, huh?

Well, glad I'm not disapointing you with the longer story, lol. And here I had the present day wedding story almost developed. This story just sorta took over. Thanks for the well wishes re: my past stories--you put in a good word for me on another post, which was really kind of you!

As for the battle of the vamps--I'm always going to choose Mick, but it would be overwhelming to have Josef's full attention, don't you think? Yeah, I too wish I had that problem, lol.

I'm loving this. It has a real Mad Men feel although it's the 70s. The female Josef is genius.
(Sorry I haven't been commenting this past week, Mum's been in hospital with overactive thyroid and I've been looking after my grandma)

I don't know how I missed this on Sunday, but I have to tell you how much I enjoyed the light and fluffy aspects of this chapter, concluding with a very impressive (but 'hip') biblical reference to the book of Judges (even with the extra 'p' inserted into 'Samson'):

Samson hadn’t needed big guns to conquer the enemy and win Delilah’s love. He’d just had cooler hair. Well, that Philistine in the office down the hall wouldn’t know what hit him.

Go, Mick! Next thing we know, he'll start making references to himself as David and Josef as Goliath (also a 'Philistine'). :)

Glad you liked my biblical reference. I actually did consider bringing in David and Goliath, but since my focus was going to be on Mick's hair, who better to symbolize that than Samson!
