Going to work my way through the 108 songs, hopefully one per day. This includes all 100 released singles, whether they appeared on the show or not, as well as 8 which were not, over the course of season 1. Not ashamed to admit it, I totally teared up during this number. Shit, the entire episode had me on the verge.

When watching with friends, we had a discussion about whether the Cheerios knew what the hell was going on in this number. The general consensus was 'No, but Cheerios have been drilled for any eventuality. The Cheerios are always prepared'. And then we yelled 'KURT! You missed your CUE' at the tv until he turned around.

I can't tell whether I like Kurt's silence in this or not. To me it comes across as him realizing how important this moment is for Mercedes and letting her have it, but at the same time having to deal with his own issues about his body and what he'll do to fit the mold he wants.

Meanwhile, I'm jealous of you having a bunch of friends to watch Glee with! ;) I have plenty of gleek friends, ONLINE... in real life... :(

I did drag a few friends into it. And if you can't find anyone in RL to squee with, you could always set up an online watch, where a bunch of people watch the ep on their computers at the same time and spam a chat room with their glee.
