John died shortly after midnight. He will be cremated. The current plan is for a memorial service at the cemetary in - next Saturday.

Perhaps my weekend won't be as good as I had previously expected. I just got an email from my stepmom.

They just got a call a little while ago. John's kidneys and respiratory system are failing and they've asked my dad to call the family. That's all she was able to tell me and thus, all I can tell you.
