I know I’ve been quiet in the TT for a bit, just can’t seem to get a decent TT post going mid-week lately, things are too crazy. Well today, I’m gonna give it a go anyways. I have a big one this week to make up for my absence a bit.

Couscous isn't a grain; it's a pasta made from wheat flour. (It's like calling orzo a grain b/c of its shape.)

Yeah, you're right, they call it Moroccan pasta, the ground endosperm of duram wheat. It was listed on the Outpost Coop grain thing as I likely got cunfused then. Thanks for the info!

I've been hoping to introduce one new thing every other shopping trip. Thanks for putting this up. Now I have another reference guide when I hit the grocery story next weekend.

post the vegan stuff here, especially if it involves recipes. Of course I'm a meat eater, but I love reading about food stuff.

couscous is very good and once the water is boiled it cooks in 2-3 minutes.
i just made vegan brownies the two days ago and they were very tasty. the recipe uses spelt flour and silken tofu.
