Boy, are we Rushies luckiest fans on earth or what? Look how much it costs to have dinner with Michael Emerson! (On top of travel expenses if you don't live in the NYC area.) At least it's for charity.

I saw that entry of Doc Jensen's. He could have included both Linus and Locke. It's not like he didn't have tandem entries.

Well, the 100-characters list is a separate piece. Jensen wasn't credited for that. I thought he did a good job; in fact, even before Michael Emerson so generously spilled the beans for us about the DVD epilogue, Jensen asked "spin-off anyone?" I don't think he slighted Ben.

Irrational enough to pay $1500??? ;) (Of course, there's a big difference in my level of irrational desire between the thought of having a quiet dinner alone with him at home--mm, oven mitts!--and a public dinner with him and the Irish Rep Producing Director at Orso in the heart of New York City's theatre district. At least our dinner with Geoffrey Rush wasn't publicized and actually unexpected ... he probably was checking us all out before he actually invited us out. If any of us had seemed a little scary, it might just have been champagne in the dressing room and a polite thanks and goodbye. Also probably waiting to see how many showed up!)

Whoops, I forgot you're not "rabid" enough to follow the m_emerson_news community, where this info was first posted (that I'm aware of anyway) and where I mentioned my dream fan encounter with Geoffrey Rush and kind of derailed the conversation. Couldn't figure out how to PM the person who was asking about it, so I kind moved the discussion (and enhanced it a bit) over here.
