So, my grandfather, the one who has been recovering from a stroke since this winter just got diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer. It has spread to his lymphnodes. I don't know how long he is expected to have, or what type of treatments they are going to recommend ( Read more... ) -

I'm at Job 1, and the phones have stopped ringing so I actually have time to be bored and update my LJ (for once).

You know that...
..unpleasant feeling of thinking you have your shit together, and you're if not organized, then at least effectively fulfilling your obligations, only to find out that is totally not true. It's time's like these graduation doesn't seem as depressing as usual.

I got an internship!!! Here! Its a collectively run feminist newsjournal! How exciting is that? Granted, they won't be paying me, but I feel totally capable of doing what I did last summer and working at a coffee shop to pay the bills while working at this place ( Read more... ) -

Unfortunately I can't say that after this I won't have a lot of work to do, but I can say that it will be managable, and not involve me not sleeping for nights in a row.
