It's weird the stuff you take for granted, like getting dressed until you injury yourself.
I didn't realise my lounge was so low until my knees got banged up and I discovered I couldn't get up. That was a surprise. Putting socks on was entertaining for a little while too.
I suspect the long term recovery issues will be more movement than pain. It took me a good 18 months to be get knee/hip movement back to where I wanted it, which was sitting cross-legged. It was back to normal movement a lot quicker than that, but I sit cross-legged and physio was working on stuff like walking.

Ouch, ouch ouch. That's terrible. Hope the arm heals well, and that you really haven't heard your head.
But... nice to see you back. Just not under these circumstances. Get well soon!
