my eye has gone down in swelling, it's still a little red though. but at least it doesn't hurt when i blink anymore. though my arm hurts because of my depo shot. :/ i usually get my shot just bellow the hip bone (yes, on my ass) because i hate shots and i figure that way i don't have to see the needle, and it feels safer because it's further from

I'm jealous - my doctor gave me a lot of resistance when I tried to get back on depo (which I love - hello no periods, and only dealing with it 4x a year!) because APPARENTLY it makes your bones disintegrate on your 70th birthday or something. GrumblegrumbleIhatethepillgrumble.

some doctor's have given me more resistance than others. but the research isn't conclusive right now as to whether or not bone density loss is reversible, so until they say "if you take the depo you are guaranteed to be brittle and fragile when you're older" then i will keep going on this, as it works well with my lifestyle. :]

what i did is i started taking calcium pills twice a day, that way if the doctor brings it up i tell them about it and they're like, "well, that's good." this last nurse i talked to also said i should take tums because they're full of calcium. O_o; the doctor i talked to three months ago asked me to take a bone density test to see whether or not the depo is affecting me, but i haven't gotten around to that yet. i do plan on taking that test eventually, just to know where i stand.

i say get some calcium pills and give it another go if you like depo. :]

Awww you will do fine in school, MoI! If I can do it, you can too! I was nervous as hell myself when going back to school but after a while, got adjusted to it and it's not so bad! Work will be the nervewrecking portion mostly pretty much, hee hee ^^
