little better
my eye has gone down in swelling, it's still a little red though. but at least it doesn't hurt when i blink anymore. though my arm hurts because of my depo shot. :/ i usually get my shot just bellow the hip bone (yes, on my ass) because i hate shots and i figure that way i don't have to see the needle, and it feels safer because it's further from my face. this time i asked the nurse where in the arm the shot would go if i got it there, and just as i said "hm, maybe i'll get it in my arm this time" she was armed and ready, and proceeded to stab me. ;_;
after that she said, "most people prefer the arm because it hurts less" but i think it hurt just the same (well, it doesn't really hurt at all anyway, but needles stabbing me is still not the best feeling). in fact, it was worse because my arm has been sore since friday. soreness is a routine thing for intra-muscular shots, but at least when it's on my ass i don't feel it whenever i reach over to grab a bottle of water, or whatever i need. on my way home (i walked) i was whimpering because it was scary seeing her stab me, and i could still feel the path which the needle took. :/ i think next time i'll get it on my ass again.
but yes, today is sunday. which means tomorrow i start school. eep! x_x; i'm getting a little nervous just because it's been so long. 2003, that's the year i left santa monica college.
today i have a lot to do...it's my own fault, bryan and i felt lazy yesterday. all day i watched him play this game he got in from gamefly, fire emblem (which reminded me how i miss ragnarok. i want my pc back!). i also went through some of the cds i bought from a girl, they're full of jpop PVs. :] i'm rating them as i go along so i know which ones to keep and which ones to toss. i went through 5 cds, but i still have like 10 more to look through.
oops, lost my original point. today i have to buy basic school supplies (backpack, notebook, pens, etc) and go shopping for some workout clothing, because all i have are a pair of pants. i don't even own a sports bra. but i did buy a yoga mat on my way back from planned parenthood the other day. :] it's a pretty color. i'll leave for that after i finish doing laundry and getting ready. so in 2-3 hours. but i'm hungry and we don't have money (save for the school supplies money my dad sent me), so i might have to make pasta before we leave too (finished off all the microwavable food like a week ago).
