Cheerful? I know you're talking mostly about other people, but don't I deserve an asterisk? I'm anything but cheerful. :-P Non-judgmental should be taken with a grain (or a few pounds) of salt too.

thank you so so SOOOO much for this article. Many years ago I could have written it, and it was incredibly comforting and reassuring to see that viewpoint put forward so cogently, effortlessly, and unabashedly positively. And to hear her say it in a political feminist context (which of course, it is) was awesome. Yay her. Yay you. Yay me because maybe I can get back to that place some day. *hugs*
