[Video] | [Action for those in Troia]

[The back of Lilisette's head had only throbbed more as the white, puffball had started speaking to her. Its words went in one ear and out of the other as she idly listened, its speech familiar but not quite on par with her own world. Speaking of, the last thing she remembered was the tear-streaked face of her tag-team partner and the gaping vortex ( Read more... )

Whoa...

[Troia is full of women. Beautiful women. But this one is really exotic! Ceodore's no flirt though and comes over to chat. Or try to.]

Hey.

[Lilisette turned at the voice, and lifted a slender brow when she caught sight of the pint-sized knight. Well, it wasn't the most eloquent of greetings, but at least it was prompt. Smiling she placed her hands on her knees and crouched just slightly (she hadn't inherited her father's height), so she was eye-level with the boy.]

Hello, little knight. Are you a defender of this kingdom?

Awhu-?

[Ceodore totally misses that she thinks he's a kid. Too busy gawking to really do much more than fumble for words.]

O-oh! N-no, no. Ah, I'm... I'm from Baron.

[She straightens, smoothing out her tights along her thighs in the process. This was a common reaction she received in her own world, where people knew her as a star dancer, but here she was a stranger. Well, boys were still boys, she reasoned.]

It's fortunate you're in Troia now, then. [She crossed her arms over her bare torso and paced a couple of steps away, then back. She might as well make the most of the situation.] Your name, knight? Every gentleman should introduce themselves to a lady, correct?

I'm not from Vana'diel, but that looks like Troia. Are you new?

It seems so. [Lili feels like she should be more panicked, but she supposes this is what she gets for traveling through Atomos again.] I'm Lilisette. [Just saying that sounded meager; she had grown used to giving full and grand introductions. Well, tacking on a little more couldn't hurt.] I'm a dancer from San d'Oria in Vana'diel.

And you are?

I'm Penelo.

You're a dancer too?

That's right! They called me the "Moonshade Butterfly" in my troupe. You're one as well? Are you a part of a dancing troupe here?

I haven't heard of Vana'diel before, but I'm new here.

I'm Aerith.

I'm relieved I'm not the only new one around here. [She smiles and waves a bit; videos are still a bit strange to her.] I'm Lilisette, a dancer.

[She pauses for a moment before curiosity gets the better of her.] If you're also new here, did you come from another world as well?

[Aerith smiles at her words.] It's nice to meet you, Lilisette~ you're a dancer? How wonderful! I think that I have two left feet hehe

Mmhm! I most certainly did! A few of my friends are here with me as well, but they arrived long before I did.

I was a clumsy child. [She finds it remarkably easy to speak to Aerith, and she can't stop herself.] With limbs that were too long, and feet that were uncoordinated, but my mother was a famous dancer in her time so she taught me. As dancers died out in our world, she stubbornly branded the steps of the Kriegstanz into me.

[A soft, childish giggle escaped her lips before she shook her head.] How nice, to have friends here. Have you met up with them already?

Vana'diel? ...no, I am not.

[Obviously.]

You have arrived in Troia.

[Whoa, rabbit ears. Lilisette is used to being around people with cat ears, but... She tries not to stare, since it would be improper.]

Thank you. [A short pause.] Are you a native of this world? [Cause... bunny!]

[She shakes her head.]

No, I hail from Ivalice. However, I have come to see Gaia as home.

Your location, it is not native to this world, either.

Gaia... [A name unfamiliar to her, even as she compared it to all the known continents in Vana'diel.] I see. What a precarious situation.

[At least when she had gone back in time she had known what to expect. This was a whole new playing field.] Well, I've a lot to learn, it seems. That presumptuous moogle assigned me a task, so there's no time like the present!

Oh, I'm Lilisette, a dancer from my world.

[He blinks, instantly turning on the video of his device upon hearing the name of his world. Not quite Uurhgum, but still... He regards the screen, and a slight look of disappointment overcomes his features at the fact you're not the empresses' mercenary. However. Rishfee's a nice enough sort to not let that make him disconnect.]

...You are from the middle lands are you not, adventurer?

Finally, someone from Vana'diel! [Lilisette's excitement fizzles when she sees the garb of a blue mage, and a moment of panic mixed with distaste. Someone from the Empire, of all places. What did she do to anger the goddess?]

I'm from San d'Oria. [She turns to the side with a bit of a huff.] You hail from the Empire, I presume?

[He's more than aware of the sass, but chooses not to comment on it. There's no point. The girl seems to have just arrived, she's probably confused. And a little scared. Thankfully though! He's got enough perception to ascertain that you're not from the far east. Your clothing is certainly strange, but middle-lands strange.

...Then the confirmation of course is her words. He draws his hands behind his back.]

I do. Is that of concern or affront to you?
...Regardless, welcome. As hollow as such a sentiment might seem.

I'm merely surprised that one from the silent Empire would venture from their borders to aid another world, if they choose not to even aid the countries in their own.

[She's not even from the war, but having been born right after the war, and having witnessed the devastation that followed, she can't help but feel the Empire's silence as if it had been in response to her own pleas. And how the Allied Forces had cried to their neighbors for help... And every humble request had fallen on deaf ears.]

But I suppose you were born after the Great War. [She sighs, tilts her head, and turns back to face him.] You've my thanks for your welcome, Immortal.
