Yes, last year. It happened the same way; people caught glimpses of home, then one day, they crossed a threshold and were suddenly there. Only, it was devoid of all other life. That event lasted for a couple of days, and when it was over...we had new locations arriving in Gaia.

[Trailing off suddenly, Edward just smiled at Rydia once he realized that he wasn't merely gazing at an illusion. Rydia was home, for this day...she was home again.]
I don't know, Rydia. I just don't know how this is possible, but...I say let it be.
[He knew how much she loved her hometown, so Edward hoped that Rydia could enjoy her time amongst her people again.]

I'm not sure how it's possible either, just that...I'll enjoy it while it lasts. Who knows, maybe Mist will be here soon.

If your village does show here on Gaia, then you must lead your people. The Summoners of Mist need a leader, and you can be their leader. I have faith in you, Rydia.

Well, the way it works is that places from our memories are drawn to us. I have no doubt you'll see your kingdom again, though whether or not it remains here is another matter entirely.
