Well I kind of talked to my mom about things a bit. There wasn't a good way to ease it into conversation, as I often find myself doing with things, so I just came out with it pretty much. Actually, she brought up how I don't seem as happy as I used to, so that made for a nice little segue to what I wanted to say. Her response, though, was all

hey there, i found you through sarah's and mommiotte's journals, thought you seemed interesting enough and so i added you as a friend!
so i guess ill just go ahead and jump rigt into your business, dont mind me, you're at the age now where you're stuck between still pleasing mom but wanting and needing to please you too, its tough decipbering being babied and being too big for your own britches. i dont have any magic voo doo mojo words of advise for you other than to just pay attention and remain objective so that you're both pleasing and benefiting from both worlds!
