Thanks! Yes, I had entirely too much fun. I tend to miss them a lot when they're gone for more than a few weeks without visiting. They did a hell of a job on the lasagna and cheesecake. I was really surprised that they'd tackle such a logistics effort. They're wonderful, and I'm lucky.

Having three teenagers, I feel your "Gah!" I've already been informed just how old and out of touch I am. I'd already known for years what an embarrassment I am. :-)

Thanks for the comprehensive update, though!

Happy birthday! Albeit a little late. :)

Do you think the girls might be a little worried if you "hook-up" with someone "too cool" that you might not want to hang with them anymore?

That makes one heck of a lot of sense! Thanks for the insight! You're so perceptive, and an original thinker. It's one of the things that makes you so interesting to read.

Why thank you! :) I don't know if it was all that original though. Just the perspective of a Daddy's Girl who has been there, and no, being 33 when your folks divorce doesn't stop the fears of being "replaced."

Well, I appreciate your perspective. That was a valuable insight. Sometimes I lose sight of how this stuff is affecting my daughters.
