[The feed turns on by accident this time, revealing that a certain psychic has arrived in Cherrygrove City. Sasha is sitting quietly at one of the tables in the pokemon center, organizing a good size pile of paperwork. Ever since getting here a few days ago, he's been working part-time at the center to build a suitable amount of money to take on ( Read more... )

Never got one from Nurse Joy, but I've found extra Pokeballs in my bag before.

If they used to belong to another person, it might mean they went home.

So it doesn't happen on a common occasion...

I was afraid of that. It seems a reunion with my friend was short lived.

Sorry to hear that, dude. Sounds like we're in the same boat.

People seem to leave Johto all the time from what I've seen, same as how people show up.

It just kinda happens.

It's alright. Something like this won't bother me for very long. After all, the friend who left wouldn't want me to be sad.

For a stranger, you seem very sympathetic towards me. That's a rarity, since most people only care about themselves.

I have.

... It probably means someone you knew went home.

Sorry

...? I can't deny the facts if you've had the same experience.

That's true. My apprentice and fellow companion went home, and ironically enough, only a few days after I arrived in Johto.

I appreciate the concern, even from a random stranger.

It can't be prevented either way.

You speak, or rather, your message conveys as if you've been through such a loss before. Perhaps even more times than once...

[Sasha. Hey. Sasha. Hey. Hey. Hey Sasha.]

What's wrong?

[And those big green eyes are peeking over the table, Óengus just barely making it over the top as well]

[Aisling catches Sasha off-guard, which causes him to shut the notebook he's been reading quickly.]

Aisling?! I thought you was out exploring or something like that...[He's trying to act like nothing's wrong, but she should be able to see past his weak disguise easily.] Nothing's wrong.

[He tries to look away from her slowly, while focusing on other tasks at hand.]

[One brow quirks]

You're very bad at lying, you know.

[Aaaand point blank. Óengus is lifted up and sat on the table before the girl clambers into the other chair there.]

I wanted to come back and see what you were doing! And I know somethings wrong. You can't hide it from me.

[He just stares at Aisling over his amber glasses, before shaking his head lightly.]

You're too smart...

[And Sasha just waits for Aisling to sit before explaining his problem to her.]

Something did happen. A friend I knew here left before we could meet again. I've experienced this feeling before and I should be used to it, but...it's easier said than done.
