Making the skirt

Yesterday I started the skirt for my EFF costume.

I had an idea in my mind of how I wanted it to look, but this was not (and still is not) completely formed. I knew I wanted to use the tulle I had with the little embroidered flowers. But I wasn't sure wether to use black or tan. I layed the tulle over both, so I could make my mind up.

A Bustle petticoat

After making the Bustle to go with my Elf Fantasy Fair outfit, I realized, I would also need a petticoat to go with it. I had the pattern for the TV121 1879 petticoat with train and lots of muslin fabric. Perfect for the 1883 Bodice, TV 462. So I decided I would make that.

For an upcoming event I decided I wanted to wear my 1883 Victorian tail bodice with extended tail. This Bodice has a very long and heavy train.
