I must admit, I'm not the most structured costume maker in the world, on the contrary I tend to get distracted easily. I like to go where the flow of my thought takes me. I think that's how my creative process works best. In the end it all seems to come together though and I even get done what I set out to do. Though that surprises me at times ( Read more... )

Last week I have been a little under the weather with a feaver, so there wasn't much I could do, but sit around feeling sorry for myself, browse through the internet and soak up all sorts of information and pretty pictures. Halfway through the week I felt a little better and decided my new corset allso needed a new set of underwear.

For next year I want to make a steampunk inspired Poison Ivy costume.
The green dress I made last summer can, with some additions, easilly be converted into a steampunk version. But, since wearing it to the last Elf Fantasy Fair I did find it needed a new corset.

So I finally finished my costume and was able to wear it to the Elf Fantasy fair.
