I went to see Jean this morning because my prosthesis has been bothering me so she shaved it down a little. Then I headed to Dr. Kempf's office to get my nerve test done. They strap your wrists with these electrode dealies and then shock you repeatedly. It hurt a bit but didn't last long. It was weird to see my hand jerk around. The tech, Bob who ( Read more... )

Pat had something similar and he got a prednisone shot in his wrist. He hasn't had any problems since.

better a one shot of local prednisone than surgery I think.

But I don't like prednisone either.

Carpal Tunnel, doh, I don't know much about that, if you don't put so much strain on your wrists would that stop the symptoms or perhaps make it un-carpal tunnely?
Do you do weights at the gym? Perhaps just stick to cardio for now?

It's from doing the register all day at work plus working out/weights.
