Work is well, work. We haven't done much else to the house. Ed needs to finish his room and we haven't even begun our room. Today was fabulous. I drove out to New Braunfels and met Audrey and Amber at Landa Park. The weather was perfect. The sun was bright and warm. The breeze felt great. I've lost another 2lbs in the 2 weeks since I last saw Dr. Kempf, which is amazing since I've eaten like crap and have only been to the gym 2 times in that time because I'm soo busy and/or my hands hurt too much. I have been riding my bike hours at a time though ( Read more... )

I went to get shots in each wrist this morning. Ed was able to get away from work for an hour to be with me and hold my hand. He and Dr. Kempf got along great. They both kept making fun of me and how anxious I was. I think Ed being there made me more anxious but it went pretty smoothly. Friday (on my day off) I have to see Dr. Kempf my Rhuematologist. He's giving me steroid injections in each wrist in the tendons. I'm not looking forward to this. Yeah I know I've been through a lot of needles this past year or so but I'm psyching myself out over these. I also need to see Jean my occularist to get my prosthesis refitted. I've been working a bunch lately.

Friday I saw Dr. Kempf. My blood work came back negative for the auto immune disease which is good but at the same time not good because I still have no answers. He gave me a prescription for wrist braces and I'm prolly getting cortisone injections some time next week. I didn't know where I could get the braces ( Read more... )

Well I might start gaming on Saturday and actually become a gamer geek and of course the rest is already true. :D

Hands soo sore. I've been going to sleep on the La-Z-Boy® when I wake up in the middle of the night in order to not bother Ed.

Worked out for the first time in almost 2 weeks. It felt good. I didn't to any arm or too much upper body work because my hands hurt soo much. I did extra stomach and back work.

Didn't get any sleep last night and I prolly kept Ed awake too. My hands have been hurting so badly. I went to bed around 1:15am, they started hurting immediately. I took 3 Tylenol® @ 325mg each. That didn't help much. I got relief for about 20minutes, just long enough to start to fall asleep and then BAM! burning stinging pain in my fingers, ( Read more... )

I went to see Jean this morning because my prosthesis has been bothering me so she shaved it down a little. Then I headed to Dr. Kempf's office to get my nerve test done. They strap your wrists with these electrode dealies and then shock you repeatedly. It hurt a bit but didn't last long. It was weird to see my hand jerk around. The tech, Bob who ( Read more... )
